The Mount Dora Art League is the oldest Art League in Florida. Established in 1926, it has long been a vibrant hub for local artists, showcasing diverse art forms and fostering community engagement.

These are the winners of the Plein Air Painting Competition at the Lake County Fair. Elisabeth Ferber, 1st Place; Dodi Truenow 2nd Place, Nicora Gangi 3rd Place and Morna Strengholt, Honorable Mention.
All winners are members of Mount Dora Art League and Elisabeth, Dodi and Morna are in Artisans Art Gallery.

Upcoming Events

Nicora Gangi will be the League’s guest presenter at the June 20th meeting of the MD Art League at the downtown gallery of the Art Center, 1 – 3pm. Her talk will be about an imaginary conversation between artists David Hockney and Picasso.
